Children considered for admission typically present with a range of issues, including Asperger’s Disorder, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, mood or anxiety disorders, reactive attachment disorder, other mental health or behavioral disorders, or learning disabilities.
Referrals to our programs generally come from school districts, social workers, hospitals, clinicians and some insurance companies. Parents may also inquire about our services.
St. Ann’s currently uses a multidisciplinary approach designed to provide an ongoing continuum of care and collaborative treatment, structure, and support to increase the likelihood of success. The goal is to provide the child or adolescent with the skills essential to live and learn in a less restrictive setting. Families play an important part in their child’s treatment, and St. Ann’s encourages parents and guardians to participate actively in treatment planning and implementation.
